Changes in English Communicative Sample Paper 2025

In Section A, 

• Correct the statement question has been added.
• Two 2-mark questions were added instead of fill-in-the-blanks.

In Section B, 

• 2-marks questions have been increased from 1 to 2.

In the Literature Section, 

• 3 Extracts (2 of fiction and 1 of drama comprising 4 subparts) for the 2025 board exams instead of 3 Extracts (each of Poetry, fiction and drama comprising 4 subparts).
• Short answer questions based on poetry have been increased from 1 to 3.
• The new pattern includes long questions based on the character’s attitude (for poetry), theme, and narrative style (fiction).

Exam Pattern of Class 10 English Communicative Paper 

The English Communicative Paper for Class 10 has a total of 80 marks and a duration of 3 hours. It consists of four sections: reading skills, writing skills, grammar, and the literature textbook.
