Dear Saint

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am sending this letter regarding the estimation of the new weaving machine price that you wanted to sell us. I am sorry to inform you that I wouldn't be able to buy it due to the following reasons:

(a) The machine is expensive for the output it gives, as claimed by you. I don't have money for that price.

(b) The efficient labourers I have work manually, i.e., by hand. There is no shortage of workers here.

(c) I save money during the off-season since I can lay off the labourers at that time. I will have to pay the interest on the loan by which I will buy the machine regardless of the season.

(d) Customers demand various designs, but the machine can only manufacture standard clothing. Handmade clothes can be supplied easily.

(e) The machine can put financial constraints on me if it breaks down due to the repair expense.

These are the reasons I won't be able to make the purchase.

Yours Sincerely,

John
