The exam pattern will be the same as the 2023 CUET exam and the admit card will be released a week before the exam. As per the latest statement by University Grants Commission Chairman M. Jagdesh Kumar, “The subject with the high number of registrations will be conducted in one day and one shift. The OMR(MCQ) sheets are expected to be introduced for these subjects”.
The CUET(UG) is a national-level entrance in hybrid(OMR or computer-based mode) in an objective-based format. The candidate can opt for English/Hindi + regional language amongst the 13 accepted languages(Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu) for the exam.
Includes 50 questions based on the chosen language amongst 13 given languages. The candidates have to attempt 40 questions in 45 minutes.
Languages in Section IA
Includes 50 questions based on the chosen language amongst 20 given languages. The candidates have to attempt 40 questions in 45 minutes.
Languages in Section IB
Includes 45 or 50 questions based on the chosen subjects amongst 27 given subjects. The candidates have to attempt 35 or 40 questions in 45 minutes.
Domain-specific Subjects
Includes 60 questions based on general knowledge. The candidates have to attempt 50 questions in 60 minutes.
The admit card will be made available a week or a few days before the exams. Students can download the e-admit card after logging in on the official site. The details for the allotted center and timings will be available on the admit card. Candidates must carry the admit card, confirmation, and identity proof to appear for the exam.
