Eye-opening Session Held with Sir Tarun Rupani for ICSE Class 10 Students (AGRA)

PRESS RELEASE

This past Sunday, Educart facilitated a truly unforgettable workshop for ICSE students in Agra, where along with stream selection counselling, one of the biggest educational influencers for ICSE students, Mr. Tarun Rupani, came for the first time to the City of Taj to meet his star students and provide much-needed guidance and new pattern knowledge for pre-boards.

Held on a pleasant Sunday afternoon at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium, the event was designed to equip students with the tools, knowledge, and mindset needed for one of the most pivotal decisions in their academic journey—stream selection after Class 10.

For many students, the transition after Class 10 feels like standing at a crossroads. The pressure to choose the "right" stream, whether science, commerce, or humanities, can be overwhelming. Often, societal norms, parental expectations, and the belief that only a few career paths, like engineering or medicine, guarantee success create confusion.

Educart’s mission with this event was simple: to break down those walls of uncertainty and offer clear guidance, all while instilling confidence in students that their future is full of possibility. The students asked curious questions like opting for dummy schools, taking Science or Commerce, and focussing on freelancing work or skills in parallel.

Anubhav Rakheja, a recognised career counsellor with years of experience, took the stage to delve into common myths surrounding stream selection. Rakheja pointed out that many students feel pressured into taking science, even when their passion or skill sets align more with commerce, humanities, or creative fields.

“It’s not about choosing the ' safe’ option; it’s about choosing the path where you can thrive as per your talent. Today, Humanities is the most famous stream today’s youth is picking, but kaafi logo ko abhi bhi Science hee dilwana hai!!” Mr. Anubhav stated passionately.

Rakheja emphasised the growing number of alternative universities and courses that offer strong placement opportunities in fields as diverse as product design, data science, liberal arts, design, and even entrepreneurship. He challenged parents to think beyond conventional choices like **NEET and JEE**, presenting real data on the success rates and career satisfaction of students who pursued less traditional streams.

And then came YouTube’s Biggest ICSE Class 10 Educator, Mr. Tarun Rupani

Excitement buzzed through the venue as students stood up and gave standing ovations as Mr. Tarun Rupani entered the auditorium and manned the stage. awaited the special guest. For the first time, Agra had the honour of hosting a role model for lakhs of ICSE Class 10 students. Known for his down-to-earth approach, Mr. Rupani’s unique style of teaching has made him a household name in the world of education. His visit was nothing short of monumental.

Mr. Rupani didn’t just talk about how to get better marks; he talked about **mindset**—a topic that resonated deeply with the students. He asked the students to be grateful for their parents' support and shared some deeply touching stories of past ICSE student toppers who were much less privileged yet overcame challenges and turned obstacles into opportunities.

Mr. Rupani's words weren’t just advice; they were emotional, heartfelt, and filled with authenticity, helping students see the value of self-belief and a growth mindset. His session left many inspired to push past their fears and aim higher in their academic pursuits.

As a gesture of support, every student who attended the session walked away with Educart's free ‘One Shot’ books and a premium notebook, a special resource designed to help them prepare efficiently for their board exams.

The true takeaway wasn’t just the books or the insightful advice. It was the feeling of empowerment that filled the room. The students left the event with a renewed sense of hope, armed with knowledge about their options and the confidence that they could succeed, no matter which path they chose.

The session ended on a high note, with a photo op, where students got a chance to meet their idol, Mr. Tarun Rupani in person. The smiles on their faces said it all—this event wasn’t just another workshop; it was a life-changing experience for many, who came from as far as Palwal and Mathura.
