NIOS Exams- BiAnnual

The NIOS examination will begin in the first week of October. The NIOS examination centres are Kendriya Vidhyalaya, government, Navodaya Vidhyalaya, and government-aided private schools associated with the CBSE/State Board/ICSE educational institutes and universities.

NIOS was founded in November 1989. It offers various academic and vocational courses for disadvantaged students in accordance with NEP 1096 by MOE (Ministry of Education). It conducts public theory examinations for Class 10 (secondary), Class 12 (secondary), and vocational courses biannually (April-May and October-November).

CBSE has requested the affiliated schools to submit the consent so that the disadvantaged students can continue their education. It is good practice if many institutions come forward to make the process seamless for students.
