Which wave property determines (a) loudness, (b) pitch?

Answer:

(a) Loudness: The loudness of the sound is determined by the amplitude of the vibration. The higher the amplitude, the louder the sound.

(b) Pitch: The pitch of the sound determines by the frequency of the vibration. The higher the frequency, the higher the pitch.
