Question:

Why are the ceilings of concert halls curved?

Answer:

The roofs of concert halls are made to be curved, so that after reflection the sound reaches all parts of the hall. Curved ceiling actually act like a large concave sound

board that reflects and transmits the sound to all the audience below.
