Soil Treatment

The farmer adds slaked lime, quick lime, and chalk when the soil becomes unsuitable for farming due to it being acidic.
Usage of slaked lime, quick lime, and chalk boosts soil fertility.
Due to a number of reasons, the soil can turn acidic, resulting in farmers using these bases.
These bases work as the neutraliser to reduce the acidity in the soil.
There will be a neutralisation reaction in this case.
