Question:

What can be the consequences of the deficiency of hemoglobin in our body?

Answer:

The red pigment known as haemoglobin, found in red blood cells (RBCs), is responsible for transportation of blood in the body. The haemoglobin deficiency can influence the supplying capacity of the blood in the body.  The decreasing supply can lead to decrease of oxygen in the body cells and resulting in a disease called anaemia. Regardless of sex, the average haemoglobin content of blood is 14.5 gm per 100 ml.
