Minimum Attendance Required in Classes 10 and 12 to Appear in Board Exams

On September 4th, 2023 CBSE issued a statement that requires students to fulfil the criteria of 75% of attendance in Classes 10 and 12 to appear in board exams. To ensure there will be no mess with any student’s attendance and to get information on students with weak attendance, a biometric system will be installed in all CBSE schools.

The student with a minimum of 75% attendance will allowed to appear in the board exams. In case of leave, the parents have to inform the school about the reason within half an hour. The biometric machine has already been installed in Prelude schools. The parents will be provided regular updates on their child’s attendance.
