Think of other examples where collective provision of goods and services is cheaper than individual provision.

Answer:

There are many examples where it is cheaper to provide goods and services at the collective level than at the individual level. These are:

(i) Arrangement of mass education etc.

(ii) Collective arrangement of education for the children.

(iii) Adoption of mass transit system.

(iv) Provision of health services to the people collectively.

(v) Provision of essential commodities at fixed prices through ration shops and dairy booths.
