If there was no democracy in India; we would not have lived together as a single nation. India is a diverse country with multi- multi-religious, multi-cultural and multi-linguistic population. If democracy was not there in India, people could not have followed their regions, culture and customs freely. There would have been conflicts everywhere between different religious and linguistic groups. But democracy provides a peaceful solution and the best way to deal with all sorts of conflicts and differences.
